MAYA is an audiovisual installation together with Jose Vertedor. A mapped video is projected on a net-like paper structure, creating a 3-Dimensional space behind the structure trough projections on the walls of the room. The video responds to the sound which is performed in real time. Maya is a performed installation.

In indian philosophy, Maya is that what exists but constantly changes, an illusion of the senses. Maya relates here to the illusory net of perception and phenomena in the world trough our senses. It draws a tension between real and unreal space.

Maya was part of the exhibition Arche Nostra in the Mare Nostrum exhibition hall in 2012. It was again exhibited in public space as part of the La Noche en Blanco Festival in 2013, both taking place in La Cala del Moral, Spain.
