performance in resonor

The composer and improviser Hardi Kurda was invited to perform with a specially prepared violin with the installation resonor. During the performance he moved trough the different hallways of the water reservoir exploring the possibilities of location and movement during the performance. The installation becomes the score and inspiration for his improvisation.

The installation acts as a body made of different interwoven layers, which shape the sonic happening. The human performer and the visitors remind me small circulating bacteria or cells which become part of and remodulate the sound body, poblating it, interfering and shaping it anew.
