Placenta is a videowork displayed as a continuous loop on a screen, in black & white. This videoperformance is composed of movements and light/shadow contrasts.
In the loop of movements, a person moves inside an organic cover that follows the action of the body like an elastic and flexible material. The whole reminds the placenta from which the individual does not break out but remains inside. The movement are like a dance, an endless cycle. The individual engages with the organic architecture around his self, trying to find a way out, exploring, finally repeating the movements remaining inside his cover. Surroundings and being merge, becoming an entity of relations.
This work is a reflection on being and becoming, a place on the shore of inside and outside, a body contained inside another body.
